In The Groove was conceived in April of 2020. With coronavirus infiltrating our world, I saw it as an opportunity to dig deep into my creative cauldron and brew up some musical ideas.
Compositionally, the goal of this album was to create songs that included 3 main things: singable and catchy melodies, meaningful and intentional improvisation, and GROOVE!
